The Medal (Documentary)

The Medal (Documentary)

In the latter half of 2007, the Foundation assisted 45 North Communications in the syndicated production of the documentary, The Medal, that premiered on television in the 2008 Memorial Day timeframe. Through original interviews with Medal of Honor recipients, beautiful cinematography, a stirring narrative and an emotional soundtrack created by Emmy Award winning composer David Barrett, The Medal brings to life some of the rich stories that define America’s highest honor as it seeks to answer the broader question of what the Medal of Honor says about us as a nation. This documentary received the Movie Guide Faith and Freedom Award as the best television documentary in 2008 and is part of the series of documentaries in The American Patriot Series.
